THE BOARD CONSISTS OF NINE MEMBERS WITH TWO-YEAR STAGGERED TERMS WITH ALTERNATE ANNUALLY. ONE MEMBERSHIP HAS EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL FIELD. THE BOARD MEETS EVERY SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER AT 6:30. THE SERVICES FOR THE CITY AND CITIZENS OF ROWLETT, BOARD MEMBERS SERVE IN THE PARK SYSTEMS BY SHARING INFORMATION REGARDING SPECIAL EVENAND ACCORDING TO THE WORK OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS, LOCAL SCHOOLS AND SOCIAL MEDIA. WE SERVE THE SUBCOMMITTEE SUCH AS URBAN FORESTRY COMMITTEES AND CHARTER REVIEW COMMISSION, PSPORTS COUNSEL, DAN ROBERTS EL COMMITTEE AND OUR SOCIAL COMMITTEE. OUR CONFERENCE FOR 2019 AND 2021 MADE AN EFFORT TO HELP MARKET PARKS AND RECREATION THROUGH BOARD INVOLVEMENT BY HAVING A BOOTH AND PARTICIPATING IN SCARECROWS ON MAIN, HELPING WITH THE EASTER EGG YARD EVENTS. WE DID HAVE A REPLACEMENT PROGRAM THAT WAS CREATED FOR THE RESIDENTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CAUTIONARY PROGRAMS AND WAS TYPICALLY FUNDED WITH $50,000 AND THIS INITIATIVE STARTED IN 27 AND WE WANT TO LOOK AT SOME ALTERNATIVES AND OPTIONS TO ALLOW FOR MOPARTNERSHIPS AND CAUTIONARY OPTIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. AS YOU KNOW, THE CODE ENFORCEMENT TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE IN DETERMINING WHETHER IT IS COMPLAINT BASED OR THROUGH AN INSPECTION AND IT IS ONLY APPLICABLE TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING DISTRICTS. THE CITY MEDIAN INCOME IS $120,000 AND THAT GIVES YOU A LITTLE MORE FLEXIBILITY IN THE RANGE WOULD BE FROM ZERO TO $81,000. THE INTENT OF THIS GRAPHIC IS TO SEE THAT WE COULD HAVE 100% VERY LOW ASSISTANCE 80% ASSISTANCE AND UP TO 50% ASSISTANCE AND WE SHOWED BOTH CATEGORIES WHETHER IT IS THE ROWLETT MEDIAN INCOME OR HUD MEDIAN INCOME. COUNSEL, IF THERE IS A CONCESSION WITH THE TWO OPTIONS THAT WE HAD MENTIONED TO UTILIZE AN INCOME-BASED ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, THE CODE ENFORCEMENT TEAM WILL ALSO INCORPORATE A COUPLE OF STEPS.
