GENTLEMEN , WELCOME TO THE CITY OF ROWLETT PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING FOR THURSDAY , DECEMBER 18TH , 2025, AS AUTHORIZED BY SECTION OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, THIS MEETING MAY BE CONVENED INTO CLOSED AN EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR THE PURPOSES OF SEEKING CONFIDENTIAL LEGAL ADVICE FOR THE CITY TURNING ON IN THE AGENDA ITEM ON THE CITY OF ROWLETT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO RECONVENE , RECESS, REALIZED THE REGULAR SESSION OR CALL EXECUTIVE SESSION ORDER OF BUSINESS AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO ADJOURNMENT, PROCESS FOR PUBLIC INPUT , IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND IN PERSON, YOU MAY COMPLETE THE CITIZENS INPUT FORM ON THE CITY WEBSITE BY 3:30 P.M. ITEM OF ORDER IS TO CALL THE MEETING TO ORDER , WE HAVE A QUORUM AND WE WILL DO THAT. SECOND ITEM IS A WORK SESSION.

ONLY ITEM ON THE WORK SESSION IS TO ADOPT THE 2026 PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING CALENDAR. WHICH EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A COPY OF AND IS PUBLISHED . THE ONLY COMMENT I WOULD MAKE IS TO PREVENT US FROM HAVING TO RESCHEDULE MEETINGS NEXT YEAR LIKE WE HAD TO THIS YEAR, TO MOVE THE SCHEDULED NOVEMBER 24TH MEETING TO POSSIBLY NOVEMBER 19TH , THE THURSDAY BEFORE THAT TUESDAY . SAME THING WITH THE DECEMBER 22ND MEETING, MOVE IT TO DECEMBER 17TH , THE THURSDAY BEFORE THAT TUESDAY. ANY DISCUSSION ON THAT? ANY INPUT
